Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil on Friday wrapped up the Lebanese Diaspora Energy Conference in Johannesburg, South Africa, whereby he reiterated the necessity to bolster bilateral ties with this African nation.
"We are at your service, whether through contacts with the officials of the countries you are living in or through our diplomatic, political, and material efforts. It is our duty to pave the way for you and to facilitate your affairs," Bassil told the Lebanese expats.
"We agreed with the South African Foreign Minister to sign a number of agreements during her coming visit to Lebanon," he revealed.
He also indicated that his next meeting with the Lebanese Diaspora would take place in Africa, in February next year.
