RABAT, International professional services firm Ernst & Young has ranked Morocco as The Most Attractive Country in Africa for Investors.
In its 2017 Attraction Barometer, E&Y put Morocco in first place, beating out South Africa and Kenya, for its political stability and steady economic growth.
The E&Y index rates countries based on their Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) as well as the resilience of each country to macro-economic pressures, progress made in long-term multifaceted areas such as governance, diversification of the economy, infrastructure, commerce, and human development, according to the American Chamber of Commerce in Morocco (AmCham).
The kingdom took second place in 2016, which AmCham noted was proof of Morocco's position as a thriving emerging market capitalizing on the benefits of international trade and global synergies.
