House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Thursday welcomed at his Ain el-Tineh residence outgoing German Ambassador to Lebanon, Martin Huth, who came on a farewell visit upon the end of his diplomatic mission in Lebanon.
The visit was a chance to dwell on most recent developments in Lebanon and the broader region.
Speaker Berri then met with an expatriate delegation from Africa's Togo, led by West and Central African Archbishop Simon Faddoul.
This afternoon, Berri met respectively with Vice Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, Muhammad Baasiri, and Banking Control Commission member Ahmad Safa.
